Gretel Ehrlich reading from Travels through Ice

Gretel Ehrlich will be reading from her recent Travels through Ice on Wednesday 18th June, from 5-8 pm at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, UEA, Norwich.

This evening is free and will also feature reading by Mia Couto and Jose Agualusa as well as an illustrated talk from photographer Geoff Dyer.

Gretel Ehrlich's talk will draw on her extensive travels with subsistence Inuit hunters in Greenland and the Arctic. Gretel joined Cape Farewell on the first expedition in 2003. Gretel has written 13 books, among them A Match to the Heart, The Solace of Open Spaces and The Future of Ice. She is the recipient of Guggenheim and Whiting awards, among many others.
