British Council, Canada
Following the first youth expedition in 2007 Cape Farewell have worked with Creative Partnerships in the UK and British Council in Canada to produce a climate blueprint. This blueprint is a resource for schools, allowing individual schools to develop their own creative climate change activities.
In collaboration with the British Council, Canada Cape Farewell will launch the second youth expedition in September 2008, taking 28 young people from across the world to experience the High Arctic. 15 Canadian high school students will join an international group of students on an expedition of discovery to the Arctic. The 28 students from Mexico, Brazil, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and others TBA will complete landmark art and science projects, whilst navigating round the point of Cape Farewell in Greenland.
