Cape Farewell website receives Official Honoree distinction

Cape Farewell are proud to announce our website has been recognised with a distinction at the 10th Annual Webby Awards 2006. The Webby Awards, the leading international honor for web sites, have recognized capefarewell.com as an Official Honoree, a distinction that recognizes sites exhibiting remarkable achievement.

Designed by Bullet Creative the website also won an e-Science award at the UN World Summit Award 2005 in Tunisia. 

Hailed as the "Online Oscars" by Time Magazine, The Webby Awards are determined by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a global organization with a membership that includes musician David Bowie, Internet inventor Vinton Cerf, and "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening. "The Webby Awards honors the outstanding web sites that are setting the standards for the internet," said Tiffany Shlain, founder of The Webby Awards. "Cape Farewell's Official Honoree selection is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators."
