Martitime Mix - London 2012 Cultural Olympiad by the Sea

Video and audio material from Cape Farewell’s sailing expeditions to the High Arctic and the Scottish Islands is shown, including video footage of a 100-year old schooner sailing through sea ice against a backdrop of breathtaking glacial walls, scientists undertaking field research at sea and high profile artists and musicians performing and creating work. Sound recordings made on the voyage and in response to it add to the intriguing experience of being surrounded by the sea and 360degree imagery.

The film is part of the In Motion: 360 degree screening programme.
