High Arctic Film Weekend

Location: National Maritime Museum, Lecture Theatre and Seminar Room

This film weekend will feature documentaries, feature films and rare archival screenings exposing different representations of the Arctic over the past century. Screenings will be interspersed with Q&A discussions and talks exploring our fascination with the Arctic and our desire to explore it, current issues, climate impacts and how visual representations and tales from the frozen North have fed our imaginations over the century.
Curated by Cape Farewell in association with the Royal Anthropological Institute, BFI National Archive and Canadian High Commission.
