Website wins UN e-Science Award

Cape Farewell website wins e-Science award at the United Nations World Summit Awards 2005

Cape Farewell are proud to announce that has been selected as a winner in the international judging of the "e-Science" category at the UN World Summit on the Information Society Awards. Fourty new media products and websites (five in each of the eight categories) were selected in Bahrain at the WSA Grand Jury Meeting (3-10 September 2005) in an intense process of evaluation. 168 countries participated in the contest in 2005. The winning projects were presented as the world's best at the WSA Gala on 16 November 2005 in Tunis, during the second phase of the UN World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
