Nina Horstmann

Project Assistant

Nina Horstmann freshly arrived from Germany in June 2008 to join Cape Farewell as Project Assistant. Prior to moving to London, Nina worked as a consultant to museums for their visitor services and she managed the whole operative visitor service for the documenta 12 in Kassel. Among her portfolio of cultural projects is the organisation of a media and architecture biennale as well as the editing of several publications and time spent within the MEDIA department of the European Commission. Nina has lived and worked in Germany, Italy, Belgium and Austria.

As an art historian and classical archaeologist Nina is convinced that art is and should be more then merely a ‘decorative’ cultural component and hopes to be able to support a more challenging perception and creation of such.
